A grade of C- or better is needed to satisfy major requirements. This is important to note for continuation in a sequence. For example, if you earn a D+ or lower in Math 1372/1272 (Calculus 2), you should not register for Math 2374/2263 (Multivariable Calculus).
Also be sure you are paying close attention to co-requisites. In the above scenario, you would also not be able to take AEM 2011: Statics. This is because Math 2374/2263 is a co-requisite for that course.
It's your responsibility to make any necessary adjustments to your schedule, as the system won't automatically make corrections for you. If you have concerns about pre- and co-requisites, start by looking at your four-year plan.
For additional questions, lower-division students should contact their CSE academic advisor, while upper-division students should contact their faculty advisor or department office.
